I'm an assistant professor in
the School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My research interests include neurodiversity, disability, accessibility, social media, cyberbullying/bullying, empathy, librarianship as a practice, libraries (public, school, and academic), and accessible for all STEAM making in libraries.
I received my PhD in Information Science from the School of Information at Florida State University, Spring 2016. Before beginning the PhD program (so long ago), I worked through all the necessary public library roles: library kid, volunteer, page, library assistant, and finally librarian mainly in rural libraries in Southwest Georgia.
